Ted Flowers SPECIAL
Silver Parade Saddle Set
This saddle is an example of the Ted Flower's SPECIAL pattern. Of all the standard patterns in his catalog this saddle set was the most expensive.

If you look closely you should notice that the conchos are smaller than you typical Ted Flowers and the pattern is very intricate with a mixture of designs. This would have made it more labor intensive to produce. Since this was an expensive set to purchase originally you do not come across many of them today. Since they are somewat rarer they are usually a little more in demand with collectors.

This particular saddle was part of a "his and hers" set and was used in many rodeo grand entries around the United States and Canada. This saddle was the "hers" and was acquired for a private Roy Roger's museum in Canada.

The "his" model is a highly valued resident of the Parade Saddle Archives collection.

We have changed our photo format (let us know if you find it easier to use). Click on the links at the bottom of the page to see the next page of photos. As usual, we show you plenty of photos with accessories laid out so you can actually see them! We also provide our buyers with more photos and very detailed condition report before they buy. There is a reason many collectors buy repeatedly from PSA!
