This is a Ted Flowers model 501 breastcollar. This piece needs to be restored to be usable. The value is in the original conchos. CLICK HERE to see more photos. For restoration or parts. This piece has loads of usable conchos and the dangles can be sewn on another piece if they are needed. We generally use pieces like this to make belts or as “donors” for big parade saddle restorations. This is a genuine Ted Flowers piece and is over 50 years old. Vintage White Saddle Pad 30 x 28 approx
SOLD! This is a vintage saddle pad that was used with a parade saddle. It has a black velvety center (not sure what it is made of)and a white fleece edge. I believe it is Kodel fleece. It is in good condition but a little dusty. The back is all white fleece. This pad is thick and substantial… nicely made. It measures approximately 30 inches by 28 inches total. Very unusual breastcollar. Leather is in bad shape but it is complete. When polished the backing plataes appear to be plated brass because gold is peeking through.
